On March 27, Simsbury Volunteer Fire Co. & Friends Team Captain Jay Dixon assembled 45 people consisting of members from the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company, Simsbury Ladies Auxiliary, Simsbury Fire District, family and friends to support the American Lung Association's mission "to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease". This outstanding, generous and caring group of people climbed 68 flights and tacked the tower at Hartford 21 raising close to $10,000.00 for the American Lung Association.

The Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company extends a thank you to everyone who participated in the stair climb and to the generousity of the many more who supported this team effort by sponsoring these climbers through donations.

Congratulations again for your outstanding achievement!
