During March 2010 the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company conducted its annual SCBA drill. The training was held at the Simsbury Fire Drill Tower located on the grounds of the Weatogue Fire Station. Each member demonstrated donning SCBA gear, buddy breathing, air conservation and navigation through a maze that offered real life scenarios in a zero visibility environment.
The new maze, located in the attic space of the drill tower, was designed by Chief of Training Randy Chesanek and constructed with the help of some of the members.
The photographs below are a compilation of the drills each station held.
